Zlatan Ibrahimovic made headlines earlier this week when he called out LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers for voicing his opinions on certain political issues. Among the athletes coming to his defense, Baron Davis defended James as he roasted Ibrahimovic for his look.

The entire situation began when Ibrahimovic decided to speak about other athletes across the world. During his conversation about athletes in other sports, Ibrahimovic said that he isn't a fan of guys like James using his platform to speak out on political topics.
Whenever the video surfaced of Ibrahimovic calling out James, people were quick to defend the legendary forward. Following Friday's victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, James would respond to Ibrahimovic, sharing that he won't allow someone to prevent him from using his voice to speak out on certain issues.
Ever since James came into the NBA at 19 years old, he had lofty expectations on and off of the court. Fast forward to his 18th season in the league and it's safe to say that James has far exceeded the expectations that were placed on him as a player who came straight out of high school.
Over the years, James has done remarkable work in different communities, including his “I Promise” foundation that has sent thousands of kids through school. He's also been at the forefront of racial issues in recent years, bringing awareness to a serious topic.
Some people have somehow questioned whether or not the Lakers star is too involved in political issues. It's safe to say — with the support from guys like Davis — that James isn't going to shut up and dribble anytime soon.
