Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens acknowledges they are in for a tough fight against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.

With superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the Lakers, Stevens noted how impressive the team has been this season. He specifically pointed out the Purple and Gold's size and agility as the two things that stand out the most for him.

“The size without losing the agility,” Stevens told Lakers reporter Mike Trudell ahead of his team's Monday evening clash against Los Angeles. “A lot of [teams] that have size can’t move like [the Lakers do].”

With Stevens and the Celtics sitting at an impressive 27-14 on the season, the aforementioned tandem of James and Davis have managed to do even better in Los Angeles.

Heading into the Monday evening matchup in Boston, the Lakers are sporting an insane 34-8 record — good for first place in the deadly Western Conference standings.

On the other hand, the Celtics currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference behind the Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors, respectively.

It is also worth noting that the Celtics remain just ahead of the pesky Indiana Pacers, who are now 28-15 on the season. With NBA All-Star Weekend now looming large, Brad Stevens and the Beantown team will surely need a strong finish to the season to enter the postseason in a favorable position.
