The Los Angeles Lakers' 107-100 win against the Chicago Bulls saw one of the best all-around games for Brandon Ingram this season.

The 21-year-old forward posted 16 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, helping the Lakers avoid their third consecutive loss.

Ingram, who the Lakers have looked up to be one of the team's primary options on offense while waiting for LeBron James to return from injury, was impressive against the Bulls. Aside from shooting 48 percent from the field, he was also able to get other teammates involved on offense.

The Lakers, who are also missing the services of veteran playmaker Rajon Rondo, allowed Ingram to facilitate the offense, and it created wonders for the purple and gold.

With Ingram playing point, the Lakers were able to build an 18-point lead late in the fourth quarter against Chicago. Although the Bulls tried to make a run in the final minutes, they eventually came up short.

After the game, Ingram told ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward how his ability to make plays helped the team earn a much-needed win:

Ingram added that with the absence of two of their best playmakes in James and Rondo, he has exerted more effort in assuming the role as one of the team's options to facilitate the offense:

This isn't the first time Brandon Ingram has had to handle point guard duties. He did it last season, especially because teammate Lonzo Ball had to sit out a significant number of games due to injuries.
