The Los Angeles Lakers certainly have a lot of noise surrounding their organization on the brink of Thursday's NBA Trade Deadline, and a lot of it has been self-inflicted.

The team finally retreated to trade talks after receiving “outrageous” trade requests from the New Orleans Pelicans over Anthony Davis.

According to a report from Broderick Turner of The Los Angeles Times, the deal included Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as well as two first-round round draft picks.

The Pelicans also sought six to eight draft picks for Davis, per Turner.

Amid trade deadline rumors involving the Lakers, a few of the team's younger assets caught some of the ribbing from Pacers fans on Tuesday, but Ingram was their main target.

“Yeah I heard it. I still made the free throw,” Ingram said, per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, following the Lakers' 136-94 loss to Indiana.

LeBron James, who returned from injury this week, gave his comments on the heckling of his teammate.

“That’s just fans being fans,” James told reporters postgame. “If you let that bother you, you’re in the wrong sport.”
“Obviously we have a lot of guys that have been in trade talks these last couple weeks that have never been in that position before,” James said. “I know it has to be tough, especially on our young guys.”

In the loss, James became just the fifth player in NBA history to record 32,000 career points.

Brandon Ingram has averaged 17.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in his third NBA season.
