Everyone knows how involved Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is when it comes to his children. His latest show of support for his kids was for his eldest son, Bronny James, during an emphatic play for Sierra Canyon.

Bronny's high school team flew from Los Angeles to Columbus, OH so that they'll be able to play St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. The ninth-grade point guard made the game-winning steal and layup at the dying seconds of the game to give them the dub.

ClutchPoints shared the clutch defensive play James Jr. got from his father:

It capped off another solid performance from Bronny, who was all over the court through the course of the game. Naturally, The King is more than happy with his son's performance:

This game is a special one for the James family because it's come full-circle for them. Fans with a good grasp of NBA history know that James played high-school hoops for St. Vincent-St. Mary, with one of his games in high school being televised to the entire nation. It was definitely a unique experience for him to see his son play his alma mater.

“Obviously, everybody knows that St. Vincent-St. Mary is when people started to recognize me from a national standpoint,” LeBron told ESPN's Dave McMenamin, per ESPN's Brian Windhorst. “And my son is about to play a high school game versus my alma mater in our home state. The only thing that would have been more emotional is if my son was playing St. Vincent-St. Mary at the LeBron James Arena in Akron. That would have been, like — that would have been too much.”

He cannot keep on celebrating his son's game against his old school, though. The Lakers have a game against the Atlanta Hawks coming up, and the team will need him there to secure the W.
