The Los Angeles Lakers may have lost five of their last six games, but one of the bright spots for them during that stretch is their starting center, Brook Lopez. Not only has he scored in double-digits in five games, but he has also joined a select company, following the 1,000th block of his career on Friday versus the Phoenix Suns.

With his latest milestone, the 29-year-old Stanford product became just the eighth player in NBA history to have at least 10,000 points, 4,000 rebounds, 1,000 blocks, and 150 3-pointers, along with some of the best big men to ever play in the league.

Now in his 10th year in the NBA, Brook Lopez is continuing to add other skills to his arsenal. After only making three 3-pointers in his first eight seasons, he knocked down 134 last year, and 22 so far this campaign, which has allowed him to reach the feat. This shows how dedicated he is to being the best player that he can be, and is a testament to his professionalism as well.

If Lopez continues to lead by example to his young Lakers teammates, it could also inspire them to keep working hard, and learn more about the NBA season's grind. This will be very important for them, as they still have a lot of games left in their schedule, and could still turn around their fortunes, even if they only have a 6-10 record to show for now.
