Portland Trail Blazer CJ McCollum sent a light roast at Los Angeles and Kyle Kuzma on Monday afternoon. He's clearly poking fun at the—checks notes—depth of the Lakers. McCollum points out that the Lakers could have a hard time finding minutes for all the talented wings on the roster.

But clearly, having too many good players is a good thing for the Lakers. It's impossible to have too much talent at any position in the NBA. Kyle Kuzma didn't seem to take offense to the roast though. He agreed with McCollum's assessment in an emoji-laden tweet.

But the interesting thing is that the Lakers may not be done making moves this offseason. There's a good chance that some of their young wings are dealt in a trade to acquire a superstar.

Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and Josh Hart are all potential trade pieces. Perhaps the Lakers are interested in making a deal with McCollum's team. Possibly for Damian Lillard so LeBron James would have another superstar to play alongside.

Maybe these tweets from McCollum will prove to be prophetic. The Lakers have depth at the wing and only so many minutes to go around. Perhaps Portland could give some of the young wings a better opportunity for big minutes.

For the time being, this is just playful banter on Twitter between two NBA players. But it's enough to make you think about what a potential trade between the Lakers and the Blazers would look like.
