Los Angeles Lakers star Carmelo Anthony was not a happy camper after his team dropped another tough loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Melo and the rest of the Purple & Gold blew another huge lead on Thursday night against the same OKC squad that overcame a 26-point deficit last week.

This time, the Lakers gave up a 19-point lead and were once again victims to some Shai Gilgeous-Alexander heroics as the visiting squad left Hollywood with a 107-104 win against LA. Anthony, who came off the bench to score 21 points on five threes, did what he can for the Purple & Gold and was left disappointed with the Lakers' first loss in four outings.

“We shouldn't have lost this one,” Anthony said (via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation).

The Lakers have been without their four-time MVP LeBron James who has been dealing with an abdominal issue. Earlier report have mentioned that James may be gone for at least one to two weeks which can be a cause of concern for the rest of the healthy Lakers.

Another injury scare came on Thursday night as Anthony Davis seemed to have hurt his hand against the Thunder. Fortunately, AD was able to finish the game and still managed to grab a game-high of 29 points and 18 boards to lead the Lakers with Russell Westbrook adding 27-6-5.

Thing is, aside from Davis, Westbrook, and Anthony's 20-point performances, no one really stepped up for the Lakers. Aside from Austin Reaves who came off the bench to score eight points, no one in the lineup even got to five points as LA continues to find their identity early this season.
