There is plenty of talk happening when it comes to who the greatest player is of all time. Since NBA players play in different eras, it's hard to say whether Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is better than six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan or top scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

However, James' former teammate Channing Frye stands by his belief that LeBron is indeed the best baller to ever lace them up.

He talked about how impressive James has performed recently in his show Handles. Frye explained to co-host Tas Melas why he thinks King James is still the best, noting how dominant the Lakers star still is in his 17th year in the league.

Frye also shared his experience with LeBron and why he makes this argument.

“He's ready to win again. He's ready to show everybody how good he is and how much better he makes his teammates,” Frye shared. “He's setting an example early on. Not only for the rest of the league, but for his teammates that he's ready to win a championship for the Lakers.”

The retired stretch big also claimed that the time off LBJ got from not playing in the playoffs for the first time since the 2004-05 season will greatly benefit the four-time NBA MVP.

Frye is speaking from a place of experience, as he was in the Cleveland Cavaliers team that did the impossible and won over a 73-9 Golden State Warriors squad.

Lakers fans will be hoping that Frye's words are the truth since LeBron will be a key man in their bid to win the championship.
