Chris Paul and LeBron James are good friends off the court, which is why the Phoenix Suns star finds it “crazy” and difficult to play the Los Angeles Lakers forward in the 2021 postseason.

The Suns and Lakers are in a tight first round battle, with Phoenix tying the series to 2-2 with a 100-92 win on Sunday. After the contest, Paul got honest about his face-off with James and shared how they see each other as family.

“It's crazy. We family…Probably nobody knows my game better than him,” Paul shared, per Melissa Rohlin of Fox Sports.

Despite treating each other like brothers, it doesn't mean the two are holding back. In fact, one could even doubt they are friends given the competitiveness and physicality they have shown throughout the Suns-Lakers series.

In Game 1 alone, the two figured in a highly physical play when Chris Paul undercut LeBron James and grabbed his arm, hurting the Lakers superstar in the process.

Meanwhile, in Game 3, LeBron appeared to stop Paul from helping Kyle Kuzma after the Suns playmaker seemed to stick his leg out to trip the youngster.

CP3 and LeBron have a mutual respect for one another, and they know they have to go all out whenever they play since they know how good and impactful each other is. As Paul said it, James really knows his game .. and vice versa.

It should be an interesting long series for both teams, and the Paul-James matchup is certainly one storyline that fans should keep an eye on.
