NBA fans went nuts after Anthony Davis knocked down a buzzer-beating three to push the Los Angeles Lakers to a 105-103 Game 2 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Davis had an amazing Game 2 performance finishing with 31 points and nine boards but his last-second shot was undeniably Sunday night's play of the game which left a ton of his fellow NBA stars in complete awe on Twitter.
And he’s not lying 🤷🏽♂️… “like that”

Lakers in 3

The Nuggets clawed their way back in the game led by Nikola Jokic who put Denver up by 1 with 20 seconds to go. The Nuggets put up a solid defensive stand the next possession with Jamal Murray blocked Danny Green's jumpshot and sent the ball out of bounds which gave the Lakers one last shot to steal the win. And one shot was all the Lakers and Anthony Davis needed. Rajon Rondo's inbound pass fell perfectly into Davis' hands as the center buried up the last-second 23-footer.
Though he did not touch the ball on that last possession, LeBron James was a huge decoy which gave Davis enough time and space to knock down the game-winner. It was actually Jokic who was guarding the inbound pass who ran out to challenge Davis' shot since both Mason Plumlee and Jerami Grant stayed home on James after he gave a screen to Davis.
Something former NBA star Jameer Nelson even pointed out after the game.
Grant was suppose to switch that screen. Blown coverage.

After his amazing performance, some retired NBA legends are even claiming that “The Brow” needs to seriously be considered as an MVP contender.
@AntDavis23 just shut us all up. Wow! That was Big. He is playing like the future MVP of this league

With the win, the Lakers go up 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals and are just a couple of wins away from heading back to the NBA Finals.
