Danny Green says the chemistry of the Los Angeles Lakers is off to a good start.

Green says everyone on the Lakers is excited to be around each other. The sharpshooter, who has won two championships, knows how important team chemistry is in the NBA.

“I put a lot into chemistry and I think Bron does too,” Green told Wosny Lambre of The Athletic. “He knows how important it is. And we have a lot of guys who are capable and have won. So they all know what it takes, not just on the court, but off the court to build that bond. A lot of guys are excited, not just because of the pieces we have, but for the personalities. We’ve played against each other for so many years, we all have the utmost respect for each guy.

“We’re all just excited to be around each other. You can tell in the locker room, everybody is learning about each other and talking about their histories and different things they’ve experienced on and off the court. Guys’ families are getting acquainted. We may do holidays together. We’re going to be just fine. Everybody is excited to be a part of this group.”

The Lakers had awful chemistry last season as a result of the Anthony Davis trade drama.

Now that AD is finally in Los Angeles and the Lakers have solid veterans and more talent around LeBron James, the Purple and Gold are legitimate title contenders.
