Los Angeles already has plenty of appeal on its own. When you add LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it becomes even more attractive. New Lakers guard Danny Green told reporters that with the two superstars, it became an easy choice for him to head to the Lakers in free agency:

Obviously, most players want to go where they either get the biggest paycheck or the best chance at a ring. Danny Green elected to go the ring route and ended up in the Purple and Gold.
The next step is for Green to help his newest team reach its goal. The talented swingman brings plenty of shooting and defensive talent to a team that was in terrible need of it. Last season, Danny Green shot an amazing 45 percent beyond the arc, helping the Toronto Raptors capture their first NBA championship.
Danny Green is also regarded as one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and he will probably get the unenviable job of guarding the opposing team's best player on most nights for the Lakers.
Overall, the Lakers have put together a good roster around their two stars. James and Anthony are now surrounded by a group of solid shooters led by Green and Quinn Cook, a budding star in Kyle Kuzma, and a star trying to regain his mojo in DeMarcus Cousins.
Green could win his third championship if everything works out in Los Angeles. He wasn't conflicted about making this choice in free agency. If he brings a similar level of clarity to the court this upcoming season, the Lakers' role players could mesh to a surprisingly strong degree.
That's exactly what needs to happen for the Lakers to make a serious run at the crown.
