Former Los Angeles Lakers stand now Derek Fisher had some interesting comments to make about the Lakers' recent struggles.

Derek Fisher had this to say on Spectrum SportsNet,

“Lastly, I still think that there’s a tug of war between from an identity standpoint for a lot of guys individually. You’re trying to figure out how do I do my thing and us win. And sometimes those two things have to be separated. And it’s just ‘Do I want to win? that's a problem.”

The Lakers this year have not played to the standards that they had hoped for. They fell to under .500 on Friday after a disappointing 130-108 loss against the Boston Celtics. The Lakers' third quarter was a struggle once again as they got outscored 33-21. It's uncertain what exactly is wrong with the Lakers, but the lack of 3-point shooting and Russell Westbrook not playing as well as he should be are definitely the main reasons. Only having LeBron James play seven of the first 17 games doesn't help either.

The Lakers need to make some moves and make them fast. They want a chance to win an NBA title this year they're going to need to find rotations and plays that work for their offense.

They have the roster to be an NBA Championship contender. Unfortunately for them, things have not clicked so far and it doesn't seem like they are going to click anytime soon.
