Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green couldn’t help but be amazed with the way LeBron James brought the Los Angeles Lakers back to life against the Memphis Grizzlies.

After the Lakers fell down 22-2 in the first quarter against the Memphis Grizzlies, LeBron took over for the Purple and Gold to give the team the lead by the end of the third frame. James scored 24 points in three quarters, even banking a step-back triple before the end of the penultimate period to bring the Lakers up 87-82.

Sure enough, as the Warriors got the day off, Draymond was tuned in to the game. Surprisingly, he couldn’t hold back his thoughts as he expressed his awe of King James.

For what it’s worth, LeBron James certainly isn’t showing any signs of slowing down–not only in the game but in the 2020-21 season so far.

Saying James is playing great would be an understatement, as he has not only maintained his usual production but has also established himself as the top contender for the MVP award. He has been really clutch as he has ever been, dropping clutch triples against the Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder in their recent games.

While LeBron is already 36 years old, his play and mentality remain sharp. In fact, prior to Friday’s game, he is averaging 25.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.9 assists. He is also shooting particularly well, making 49.5 percent of his shots from the field–including 39.5 percent from deep.
