It would have been a perfect week for Halsey had the Los Angeles Lakers won Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings. But no, the Grammy-nominated artist had to endure the pain of watching the Purple and Gold lost in triple overtime while at Applebee's.

How did we know this? Well, Halsey herself updated her followers on Twitter by live-tweeting the Lakers-Kings game and her painful journey of being stuck at Applebee's while waiting for the contest to be over. The showdown had its highs and lows, and the 27-year-old singer perfectly showed that with her epic coverage.

Halsey was basically every Lakers fan on Friday night, exhausted to watch them but can't help them to turn off their TV or live streams in hopes something would change or they would get the job done.

Here's how it started for Halsey:

To recall, the Lakers were ahead by five points entering the final quarter of the contest and even went as high as 12 points midway through the final frame. So imagine how Halsey felt when LeBron James and Co. collapsed and allowed the Kings to stage a comeback.

Of course things didn't get any better for the popular music artist. It was even worse as the Lakers were unable to close out the hapless Sacramento franchise despite having not one but three superstars at their disposal.

Just when she thought she could go home, she couldn't after Buddy Hield tied the game in the first overtime with three seconds left. LeBron tried a Hail Mary attempt from deep three to finish it off, but to no avail.

It looks like she was also not happy with how Dwight Howard played.

In the end, Halsey's effort of staying late at Applebee's just to see her favorite team win went in vain. As she put it, she was in “Applebee's triple OT purgatory.”

Every Lakers fan certainly felt her pain, and who wouldn't? LeBron and Co. eventually lost 137-141, with the game turning out to be a battle of attrition.

Halsey, for her part, summed up her Lakers-Kings experience in four photos:

It might be safe to assume that we won't be seeing her at Applebee's any time soon. If we do, maybe Halsey's just there to relive the painful memories of that day she experienced hell on Earth, thanks to the Lakers.
