The names getting behind LeBron James in the midst of his war of words against United States Predisent Donald Trump just keep getting bigger.

After Ohio Governor John Kasich tweeted out his support for James yesterday, it is now former U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton who has come out to defend the Los Angeles Lakers star. According to Clinton, she believes that LeBron is remarkable both on and off the basketball court, and that the human race is in dire need of more people like him.

Clinton has been one of Trump's staunchest critics, so it is no surprise that she is going against the President's sentiments here. Nonetheless, her statement here is backed by facts, with James' recently-inaugurated I Promise School as testament to her strong belief.

Aside from Clinton, several notable personalities from within and outside the world of basketball have publicly backed James. Even the great Michael Jordan himself, who in his statement Trump identified as the better player over LeBron, has released a statement in support of James.

Trump's declaration is barely a day old, and there is already a long list of names that have disputed the President's statement, in which he pretty much degrades LeBron and his intelligence level. As the days go by, it would not be surprising if the list gets longer.

James has yet to respond to Trump, and we will be monitoring the situation closely. Stay tuned for further updates.
