It was an exhilarating win for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night over the Denver Nuggets. The crowd atmosphere at Staples Center during the Lakers' 112-1o3 come-from-behind victory was nothing short of electric.

However, according to an interview with Lakers star point guard Isaiah Thomas that was posted on YouTube by Lakers Nation, there is no rivalry between the two teams.

“We talked about just treating it as another game, knowing that that guy does what he does. But we’re not too worried about him,” Thomas said. “We’re worried about ourselves and winning the game. I think we did a great job of that tonight and not trying to focus on doing everything we can to stop him and worry about he does. We were worrying about what the Lakers were doing. We played an overall good game.”

Thomas was a huge contributor for the Lakers in Tuesday's win over the Nuggets, as he scored 12 of his 23 total points on the night in the fourth quarter alone. The Lakers and Nuggets have seemingly had quite a lot of beef on the court this season, especially with Denver second-year point guard Jamal Murray's questionable on-court antics.

During the closing seconds of the game, Thomas nonchalantly threw the ball towards Murray that added a little more fuel to the fire of this new mini-rivalry between the Lakers and Nuggets.

The Lakers (31-36) will look for their third consecutive victory tonight against the Golden State Warriors, who are quite banged up at the moment with injuries.

Golden State will not have superstar point guard Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle), star shooting guard Klay Thompson (fractured thumb), star power forward Draymond Green (shoulder soreness), power forward David West (right arm cyst), and shooting guard Patrick McCaw (fractured wrist) for Wednesday night's game at Oracle Arena.
