Isaiah Thomas was asked to speak out on Jae Crowder's impact in these NBA Playoffs as his Phoenix Suns compete for an NBA championship. The former Suns guard couldn't help but react to one of Crowder's most iconic moments: His salsa dance mockery of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Via ESPN's Zach Lowe:

“It was hilarious,” said Isaiah Thomas, Crowder's teammate and trash-talking rival for parts of three seasons with the Boston Celtics. “Jae is not taking s— from anybody.”

In the dying seconds of their first-round series against the Lakers, Crowder was ejected for mimicking LeBron's salsa commercial:

Say what you want about the taunt itself or adding insult to the Lakers' injury, but just the fact that Jae Crowder was willing to make a fool out of LeBron James, the face of this generation of basketball, takes some major bravado that you have to respect.

“I was a castaway,” Crowder told ESPN. “I felt like no one thought I was an NBA player.”

The Suns forward revealed that it comes from forever carrying a chip on his shoulder. He parlayed that motivation into an NBA career that's sure to span at least a decade, if not more.
