It seems that the GOAT debate between Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and NBA legend Michael Jordan will never end, and while the consensus around the league is that that distinction belongs to MJ, there are still a lot of people who are constantly making a case for King James, and one of them is Jamie Foxx.

Foxx said that he had a chance to watch both MJ and LeBron live, and one major difference between the two was that the former had no competition, that he was a cut above the rest during his time. Meanwhile, in today's game, a lot of guys have shown tremendous skill and athleticism like Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Paul George. And LeBron was on top of everybody else.
Then Foxx said that MJ and another player being compared to him, Kobe Bryant was able to play with a Hall of Fame coach and superstar teammates, while LeBron had to build his legacy on his own when he first came to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Foxx ended his statement by saying that although he doesn't necessarily call LeBron as the GOAT, there are a lot of things that put him in that conversation.
There is no denying that LeBron is indeed one of the greatest players in the NBA. He's no doubt a top five players of All-Time and people who are saying that he's the GOAT aren't necessarily wrong. For more than a decade, he was hailed as the league's top dog.
And no one can deny that he's played at the same level as MJ or even better, talent-wise, during his prime.
