Hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar visited the Los Angeles Lakers at practice, which calls for a team photo with everyone involved.

Lakers guard Josh Hart has not been in any of Lance Stephenson Instagram posts, until now. Safe to say Hart was excited to make it into a post:

The Lakers opened up one of the most anticipated seasons in franchise history Thursday night, but they lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 128-119. Hart finished the game with 20 points, four rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist in 27 minutes of action. Stephenson finished with four points, two rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes of action.

We shall see if Lamar brings out any inspiration to the team after his visit, as he is a highly respected rapper, not only just in the NBA, but all across the world. Lamar has won a boatload of Grammy Awards, as well as a whole host of other awards. He also just won a Pulitzer Prize award for music.

The Lakers' next game is their home opener against the Houston Rockets Saturday night on ESPN, with tip-off set to begin at 10:30 p.m. ET. With one game played already for the team, it’ll be interesting to see how the team responds and how well they will play together. It should be noted that new LeBron James-led teams often have slow starts to their seasons, so Lakers fans shouldn't fret.
