Most agreed with Hart's observation. But for them, it's not underrated as it is definitely the best part of the Thanksgiving celebration.

Underrated or not, Hart and the rest of the NBA are definitely enjoying their respective Thanksgiving feasts. Hart himself deserves a good celebration as he's done extremely well for the Lakers this season.

In 17 games, Josh Hart has averaged 10.6 points per game on 45.3 percent shooting from the field. He's also a reliable marksman from downtown, making 2.1 per game on 41.9 percent.

Prior to the start of the season, Hart felt like he was in the gray area. He felt as if he was overshadowed by Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, and Brandon Ingram. Not to mention LeBron James — the greatest player on the planet. Per Paolo Uggetti of The Ringer:

“I’m like in a gray area,” Hart tells me after a Lakers practice in late September. Asked where he sees himself fitting into the retooled Lakers lineup, the second-year shooting guard shrugs. “I have no idea. You have the young core, and then you have the best player on the planet, and then you have the vets, so I’m just floating around. It’s challenging, but it is what it is.”

Yet with the way he's performing now, things look different. One can safely say that Josh Hart is part of the Lakers' future plans. He's been a key piece of the Lakers thus far.
