Sunday saw a massive loss to the sports world. Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was tragically killed in a helicopter accident along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and a few others.
The sports world has been reacting to this untimely passing all day long. And now, Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker has responded as well.

The first thing that should be pointed out is that Kemba's reaction came after the Celtics lost to the New Orleans Pelicans. That is significant because it has been happening all day — players, coaches, etc. have been talking about the accident before, during and after games.
At this time, the game does not seem to matter. The players want to talk about their friend, their family, their hero and their idol. Bryant was larger than life, having inspired so many people in his time with the Lakers including Walker.
Kemba Walker spoke about how he met Kobe Bryant while he was still in high school, the impact that he had on him moving forward and what it meant to him. It's clear the Lakers icon meant so much to the Celtics All-Star.
The sports world continues to mourn at the loss of the great Bryant. Even rival teams and players have nothing but excellent memories.
Bryant retired in 2016, and at 41, it seemed like he would have another few decades to continue to make his mark in the basketball world and any other ventures he decided to walk in on.
