Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn will sign with Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.

ESPN's Dave McMenamin first reported the news:

“Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn has signed with Klutch Sports Group, league sources told ESPN. Undrafted out of college, Nunn has averaged 15 pts and 3 ast per game in his first two seasons in the league with the Miami Heat and figures to have a prominent role in L.A.’s title hunt.”

Klutch formally announced Nunn's signing:

Paul and Klutch have close ties with the Lakers. They represent LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Talen Horton-Tucker — along with former Lakers such as Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, J.R. Smith, Dion Waiters, and Ben McLemore.

Nunn, a 6'2 combo guard, signed a two-year, $10 million deal with the Lakers in August on the taxpayer mid-level exception.

At his introductory presser, the 26-year old said he turned down money for the opportunity to join the Lakers.

“L.A. would be appealing to anyone, honestly speaking,” he said. “But, just that great chance to win a ring. I wanted to be in that position again. And also just to help my teammates and learn from them. I looked at the roster, I’m one of the younger guys, so I’m gonna be a sponge to a lot of these guys in the locker room.”

“I’m honored to be in this position, to put on an L.A. Lakers jersey,” he added. “This is a powerhouse franchise, it means everything.”
