Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has been criticized in recent years for getting players to join his teams. With the Los Angeles Clippers doing essentially the same thing this season, former NBA big man and current ESPN analysis Kendrick Perkins has had enough.

Perkins took to Twitter on Wednesday to call out the hypocrisy among fans and the media as a whole.

Perkins' mini-rant is the result of the Clippers signing recently-waived point guard Reggie Jackson this week, adding to their already impressive depth. The Clips also acquired New York Knicks forward Marcus Morris at the trade deadline, further bolstering their role even more.

At the break, the Clippers are third in the Western Conference with a 37-18 record — five games behind the Lakers.

As one of the best and most successful players of the era, LeBron James is an easy target for hate. The Lakers superstar had many key pieces added to the roster when he was with the Cleveland Cavaliers, fueling the criticisms thrown at him.

A 14-year NBA veteran himself, Kendrick Perkins knows first hand the kind of hate that LeBron gets from fans and media. The two actually played together in Cleveland in two separate seasons, 2014-15 and in 2017-18.
