The Los Angeles Lakers definitely rolled over in Game 5. With one quick look at the box score, there's one glaring figure that jumps out at you –  Dennis Schroder laid an egg.

The Lakers guard scored zero points, going 0-for-9 from the field and missing all four attempts from the three-point line. Kendrick Perkins was quick to notice. The player-turned-analyst gave Schroder hell for turning down a massive payday when he wouldn't even produce when it matters most.

Perkins left out a few million there, too. The Lakers reportedly offered Dennis Schroder a 4-year, $84 million extension which he declined to bet on himself. This was reported by ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

“The maximum he can sign for is four years and 84 million if he totally maxes out what he’s able to do on an extension.”

“What I have been told – and this rumor is pretty widely out there, so I doubt that this is very surprising – is that the Lakers did indeed offer him that 84 million dollars over four years.”

That's a lot of cheese left on the table. It remains to be seen how Schroder's negotiations will go in the offseason. But his performance in Game 5 against the Suns wasn't exactly his best selling point, Lakers fans can only hope he ups his value in a big way come Game 6 to be worthy of a big payday.
