Kendrick Nunn has yet to make his debut for the Los Angeles Lakers since signing with the squad as a free agent last summer. The 26-year-old is still in the process of rehabbing a lingering knee injury and, at this point, there's still no firm timetable for his return to action.

Earlier in the week, the Lakers provided an update on Nunn's road to recovery, and there wasn't any good news. Coach Frank Vogel stated that Nunn hasn't responded well to increased workouts and that his debut has been further delayed. LA was initially hopeful that the 6-foot-2 point guard would be able to take the court prior to the February trade deadline, but now it sounds like this might not be the case.

There's no denying that Lakers fans are starting to get frustrated with Nunn's current situation. As it turns out, the same can be said for Nunn himself. The former Miami Heat guard recently took to Twitter to express his current state of mind while also providing a bold promise to Laker Nation:

At the moment, it's anybody's guess when Kendrick Nunn will be able to return to action. Not even the Lakers organization seems to know when this is going to be. Nevertheless, Nunn has promised that he'll be “worth the wait.” He better deliver on his promise once he's ready, because the Lakers clearly need all the help they can get right now.
