The Los Angeles Lakers logged their third win in four games on Friday night as they took care of business in a matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. Following the convincing 129-115 victory, Lakers wing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had nothing but good things to say about his team's play of late, particularly when it comes to moving the ball.

“The ball movement has been great. We've been spacing the floor, getting it to the open guy,” Caldwell-Pope said, via ESPN. “It's been good for us, and the way we've been playing on both ends of the ball has been amazing.”

Caldwell-Pope continued his recent hot streak against the Hornets, accounting for 25 points (on 8-of-14 shooting), six three-pointers, four rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 33 minutes of play.

Both LeBron James (27 points, nine assists) and Kyle Kuzma (20 points, three rebounds) played well for the purple and gold, but perhaps the most remarkable stat line of the evening was that of veteran point guard Rajon Rondo, who dished out 17 assists, along with seven points, a three-pointer, six rebounds, and five steals.

As for the Hornets, the loss put a huge dent on their chances of breaking through to the playoffs picture in the East, as they now sit two games behind the eighth-seeded Miami Heat.

The Lakers are off on Saturday, but will be back on action on Sunday night as they take on Anthony Davis (should he be available to play) and the New Orleans Hornets.
