Former Los Angeles Lakers guard and future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant stopped by Westwood on Tuesday to watch a women's college basketball game between the UConn Huskies and the UCLA Bruins. The Black Mamba wasn’t alone though. Bryant was with his 11-year-old daughter, Gianna, who probably has basketball dreams of her own.

In case she’s really looking to follow in the footsteps of his legendary father, Gianna might have to consider going to UConn in college. At least that’s what we are making of the treatment the Bryants received from the Huskies. Gianna and his father posed for pictures with the Huskies, who remained undefeated this season with a 78-60 win over UCLA.

Here’s Gianna with UConn head coach Geno Auriemma.

UConn isn’t a bad campus for Gianna to dream of attending in the future. The Huskies have one of the most successful basketball programs in the country. Under the terrific stewardship of Auriemma, the Huskies have won four of the last five national titles. UConn is also the winningest women’s basketball program ever with 11 national championships under its belt.

But we’re looking too far down the road on this one. There could be plenty of suitors for the Kobe Bryant-trained Gianna once she finishes high school.
