Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was quick to give his support for the Super Bowl-bound Philadelphia Eagles. Bryant, among the many celebrity fans of the Eagles, took to Twitter and gave encouraging words for Nick Foles and company.

This was not the first time this NFL season in which Kobe Bryant used social media to give the Eagles some props. He even gave them a pep-talk before.

In true Black Mamba fashion, Bryant reminded the Eagles that reserving a spot in the Super Bowl is not going to cut it for the franchise and the city. Nevertheless, what the Eagles did during Sunday’s NFC Championship Game win over the Minnesota Vikings at home was nothing short of spectacular.

After Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph put Minnesota ahead early in the first quarter with a touchdown grab, the Eagles answered back with a debilitating 38-0 run on their way to a dominant 38-7 victory.

Foles was fantastic throwing the pigskin around, going 26-of-33 for 352 passing yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. The Eagles’ ground game was dialed in, too, with Jay Ajayi coming up with 73 of the team’s total 110 rushing yards. Philadelphia easily overpowered the vaunted Vikings defense, which finished the regular season ranked first in the NFL in total defense and total yards.

What makes the Eagles’ triumph over Minnesota even sweeter was the fact that Philadelphia was treated as the underdog in the NFC title game despite playing at home.

The Eagles will reprise that underdog role again, as they are set to face Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Feb. 4.
