Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant's new ESPN+ show “Details” has drawn rave reviews from diehard fans of the game, but has also set a likely curse for the star players featured in it.

According to Twitter user Reggie Rose, since episode two of the series, The Black Mamba's spotlight on these players hasn't really bode well for them in the postseason.

  • Episode 2: DeMar DeRozan (Aired Apr. 15): Raptors were swept out of playoffs for second straight season.
  • Episode 3: Donovan Mitchell (Aired Apr. 30): Won Game 2, but lost series in five games.
  • Episode 4: Jrue Holiday (Aired May 6): Lost by 26 points in Game 4, then the series in five games.
  • Episode 5: LeBron James (Aired May 12) Lost Games 1 and 2.
  • Episode 6: Jayson Tatum (Aired May 17): Lost Game 3 by 30 points, then Game 4 to even the series 2-2.
  • Episode 7: Stephen Curry (Aired May 22): Warriors' 16-game playoff winning streak at home ends with 95-92 loss to Rockets.

While this is certainly not Bryant's intention, his show has certainly drawn eyes from many NBA players, and while the analysis is right on par with what NBA coaches offer during film sessions, a fresh perspective always brings a different insight.

Bryant has been famous for helping players over the offseason, but it looks like some haven't even needed to wait that long, with his show airing just in time for the playoffs.
