One of the best stories to come out of the end of the season was that of Andre Ingram. The G League veteran finally got his chance in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers and he didn't disappoint. In his first game against the Houston Rockets, he put up 19 points and showed his lethal stroke from deep.

One of the guys most impressed with his story was former Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant who opened up to Sam Amick of USA Today:

“Dude, (the story is) ridiculous. Like, are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? I mean to have the courage and resolve to stick with that dream, and to now get your shot and to come through in that way? I mean, that’s impressive, man.”

For Ingram, his story is so impressive because of the resolve he showed. The G League's salaries are very low, so he had to take up a math tutoring job during his off-days and during the summer just to make ends meet for his family.

He never gave up on his dream though and he finally got his shot in the NBA. For Bryant, he thinks the accomplishments were so impressive he wouldn't rule out making a movie on the Andre Ingram story:

“Yeah, maybe,” he said with a laugh. “Who the hell knows, right?”

For the movie, though they might have to hold off on it for at least a few years. Many believe there is a chance he could make an NBA roster next year. So is the end of the road for Ingram? Or is this just a start to an NBA career?
