Everything is turning around in Los Angeles for Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, and the rest of the Lakers. Despite almost losing to the lowly Atlanta Hawks in Staples Center, Tyson Chandler's fingertip block of a Trae Young floater saved the Lakers. Kuzma took to Instagram to post a photo of the ensuing celebration.

But Ingram called out Kuzma for looking ready to throw a punch, but Kuz said he was just getting ready to give him the “Ingram special.”

This is obviously a hilarious callback to the punch that landed Ingram in hot water with the NBA and led to a suspension. Ingram and Rajon Rondo were both suspended after a brawl with Chris Paul in which punches were thrown.

Things have really turned around for LA since that loss to the Houston Rockets back in October. The Lakers are winners of five of their last six and the defense finally looks like it's coming together. Signing Tyson Chandler looks like an excellent move that shored up the second-unit defense.

They are far from a finished product, but they're starting to trend in the right direction. They seem to be finding their stride and even though a one-point victory over Atlanta isn't something to get too excited about, a win is a win. The Lakers need to win some of these games where they don't play their best. Sunday night's win was exactly that.
