Charlotte Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball has taken the NBA by storm, while his older brother Lonzo Ball is coming into his own for the New Orleans Pelicans this season. With the two Ball brothers playing well, Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is spending his free time wondering just what a backcourt feature Lonzo and LaMelo would look like.

That would definitely look like a dynamic and fast-paced backcourt. While LaMelo is more flashy, especially with his passing, Lonzo isn't a slouch in setting up his teammates either. The two Ball brothers are gifted playmakers, and will likely be an exciting tandem to watch.

Kuz has already played with Lonzo Ball for the Los Angeles Lakers for a couple of seasons. The two came in together as rookies in 2017 and established good chemistry with each other both on and off the floor. Despite Lonzo getting traded to the Pelicans in the summer of 2019, the two have remained tight.

Of course, the former teammates' relationship entailed a lot of roasting between the two youngsters. Being connected with Lonzo, that didn't stop LaMelo Ball and Kuzma from clowning each other as well.

Two years later, both Ball brothers are in the NBA and the youngest one is making a lot of noise in Buzz City. LaMelo Ball is arguably the top favorite to win the 2020-21 NBA Rookie of the Year plum with his outstanding debut campaign so far.

Ever since assuming a starting role on Feb. 1, the 19-year old is averaging 19.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. Many pundits of Melo were wary of his shooting prior to the start of the season, but he is proving those naysayers wrong by shooting 45.6 percent from the field and 43.7 percent from three over this stretch.

Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball isn't getting as much as love his younger brother, but he is slowly becoming a consistent contributor for the Pelicans. Since February, the 23-year old is putting up 15.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists, whie shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 42.4 percent from three.
