Ten days into his second season in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform, forward Kyle Kuzma is already seeing the media circus that ensues when LeBron James comes to town. Following an early statement win over the previously-undefeated Denver Nuggets, James talked to reporters for an extended period — something that left the Utah product perplexed to find out his new teammate was still fulfilling his post-game media obligations.

“[LeBron’s] still talking? [Expletive]!” Kuzma yelled in jest as he tiptoed around reporters en route to his locker, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

“I ain’t never seen anything like that before,” Kuzma said later. “It’s like The Beatles. That’s the best comparison I got.”

Upon his departure, James brought along a coalition of national and outside media to follow his venture to The City of Angels, and with it, the onslaught of questions that ensue with having the face of the NBA in a podium with a Lakers uniform on.

James answered a plethora of questions, ranging from the pressure of mending a slow start to his opinion on the presence of Kobe Bryant at the Staples Center.

“I felt if we didn’t get this win tonight, they’ll probably take us off nationally televised games,” said James after beating the Nuggets 121-114 on Thursday night.

Kuzma is likely facing much taller expectations in his second season than he did during his rookie campaign, now expected to win and even reach the playoffs instead of just playing the best of his abilities.
