Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma and guard Danny Green probably aren't too easily impressed considering their status on this planet. However, both were very impressed by a recent talk given to the team by legendary standup comedian Dave Chappelle.

“Very cool. Not only does he make people laugh, but he informs you on what’s going on in the world,” Green recently told Mike Trudell of the team's official website in regards to Chappelle coming to speak to the Lakers.

Genius Talk is a program that was previously started by Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka that brings talented individuals from around the world to Los Angeles to speak about their success at their respective crafts.

“I was super excited. I think he’s the greatest standup comedian ever,” Kuzma added, via the aforementioned Trudell.

On the basketball court, the Lakers might start to be considered geniuses themselves. As it stands today, the Lakers own the best record in the entire Western Conference, a group that is expected to become quite competitive sooner rather than later as this half of the NBA is absolutely stacked this season. In addition to the 11-2 Lakers, Los Angeles is expected to be up against the likes of the rival Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz and a few others.

Not only do the Lakers own the best record in the Western Conference midway through the month of November, but Los Angeles currently has the best record in the entire NBA — just ahead of the 10-2 Boston Celtics of the Eastern Conference.
