Kyle Kuzma just climbed over Michael Porter, Jr. and embarrassed the Denver Nuggets star with an emphatic jam. The Los Angeles Lakers reserve took full advantage of the Nuggets' lackluster box out as he sprinted all the way from outside the arc to save Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's missed attempt. It didn't matter that a 6-foot-10 MPJ was standing right there as Kuz went way up for a monster jam.

Check out Kuzma jumping out of Denver's Ball Arena:

Porter, who was way late in challenging Kuzma's dunk, was left on the floor. He's lucky he wasn't called for the foul or the poster would've been way worse for him.

Highlights from Kuzma's fourth season in LA this year have been few and far between. After signing a massive $40 million extension this off-season, the 25-year-old has been rather inconsistent as he struggles for minutes in head coach Frank Vogel's rotation. With his numbers being down this year, the former All-Rookie First Team member has found ways to impact his team. Kuzma has been recently lauded for his effort on the boards by his head coach which was definitely in full display against the Nuggets.

But coming into Sunday's game, Kuzma has been on a nice mini-run averaging 15 points and 8.8 rebounds per game in his last four outings. Hopefully, the fourth-year man can continue his solid contributions towards the Lakers' quest for a repeat.
