Los Angeles Lakers rising star Kyle Kuzma has seen his name thrown around in a ton of trade rumors of late. There's little doubt that the 24-year-old is one of the most promising young studs in the league today, so it's no surprise that other teams are lining up to try and snag him away from the Lakers.

For his part, Kuzma recently opened up about his potential move away from L.A. According to the 6-foot-8 power forward, he is keeping his mind on his basketball and is not letting something beyond his control affect him in any way.

“I really don't care, honestly,” Kuzma said, via Lakers insider Melissa Rohlin. “You can't control it. If I get traded, I get traded. It don't matter. I'm still going to play basketball. I'm still going to play the game I love. I'm still going to be paid.”

Kuzma is currently surplus to requirements with the Lakers following the summer arrival of Anthony Davis. After an outstanding first two seasons with the Purple & Gold, Kuzma was relegated to a bench role this term to make room for Davis. This resulted in a dip in Kuzma's production rate this season, but nonetheless, he has still shown flashes of brilliance when given the opportunity.

There are currently a lot of teams showing interest in Kuzma. The Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Detroit Pistons are some of the squads that have been linked to the former 27th overall pick, and at this point, it appears that he will be dawning a different uniform after the February 6 trade deadline.
