Kyle Kuzma opened the scoring for the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday in style. The 25-year-old hit a tough turnaround three-pointer to beat the shot clock which left more than a few folks impressed.

Here's a look at Kuzma's tremendous effort courtesy of ClutchPoints on Twitter:

The Lakers were taking on the Miami Heat on Saturday in a rematch of last year's NBA Finals. The defending champs hadn't made a basket up until that point, but Kuzma made sure that this was no longer going to be the case. He'll also have to thank LeBron James for the pin-point pass.

We're probably going to get some stick for this, but we can't help but see a bit of the late, great Kobe Bryant in that turnaround triple. Awesome job, Kuz.

Kuzma got the nod to start against the Heat in the wake of the Anthony Davis injury. AD is currently dealing with a calf strain (we continue to thank the heavens that it isn't an Achilles issue), which will see L.A.'s prized big man miss at least four weeks of action. This is a great opportunity for Kuzma to step it up sans Davis, as he has done many times in the past.
