Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma looks up to LeBron James’ care of his own body
Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers is aiming for longevity and is seeking advice from none other than LeBron James on how to take care of his body.
Per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, Kuzma shared that he became curious about James’ body regimen even before they became teammates. And now that they’re donning the same jersey, Kyle Kuzma and LeBron James seem to have formed a bond.
“During last season, probably mid-season when we played Cleveland, I tried to figure out what he does with his body and how he takes care of it. I’m just really inquisitive. He just really helped me out a lot.”
In an interview last season, James revealed that he looks out for his body every single day, either through treatment or in the weight room. Per Brian Windhorst of ESPN:
“It’s every day. Around the clock every single day, working on my body,” James said. “Either with treatment or working on my body in the weight room. Continuing just to build strength throughout the season when everybody else is kind of tearing down … not putting too much pounding on my legs when I’m on the court, but being very efficient. I’ve kind of figured that out in my 15th season.”
It’s definitely a good idea of Kyle Kuzma to seek advice from the Lakers superstar. After all, after 16 years in the league, James is still at the top of his game with no signs whatsoever of slowing down. Reports reveal that LeBron James spends around $1.5 million on his body every year.
