The Los Angeles Lakers have been plagued by injuries this season. They recently announced that Brandon Ingram is out for the remainder of the season to deal with a blood clot in his arm. There are also conflicting reports out there about Lonzo Ball's status, with some saying that he's also out for the season, while others speculating that he'll still be able to play. Josh Hart recently admitted that he hasn't fully recovered from the knee tendinitis he suffered a month ago, and is just playing through pain.

The good news is, the Lakers might be able to get sophomore forward Kyle Kuzma, as they face the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.

Kuzma has missed time recently due to an ankle injury. His return could help the Lakers on offense, especially with LeBron James as their only reliable scoring option at the moment.

When healthy, Kuzma can be a prolific scorer. In fact, he's the second leading scorer for the purple and gold this season, averaging 18.8 points on 46 percent shooting. He's made a lot of strides and was the first player among the young core to have easily adjusted to LeBron.

However, with the Lakers all but officially out of the playoffs, it may be wise to have Kuzma sit the rest of the season out, as any major injuries could impact his career in the future.

Still, if Kuzma does play, the chances of the Lakers snapping their five-game losing streak is way better compared to when he's not on the floor
