Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma’s recovery from a back issue looks like it’s right on track. Kuzma missed his first game of the season against the Golden State Warriors due to that bad back but says it’s feeling good now.

Kuzma has since returned to practice and could be in line to make his return to the lineup in the Lakers’ next game against the Denver Nuggets. He also says he’s not at all concerned about that back tightening up during their flight to the Mile High City.

Kuzma, who was recently named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for November, has been a revelation for the Lakers this season. He averaged 18.2 points on 49 percent shooting with 6.7 rebounds in 13 games last month, 11 of which he started in place of the injured Larry Nance Jr.

If Kuzma still isn't quite ready to return, the Lakers should still be able to cope without him. Julius Randle came up with 20 points off the bench for the Lakers against the Warriors with Kuzma missing. He also had his best game of the year against the Nuggets as he dropped 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in their first meeting this season.
