Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has established himself as one of the best defenders in the NBA today. He won the Defensive Player of the Year last season, which is a solid proof of his ability to be very effective on that end of the floor. However, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma still thinks Green can’t stop him during games, which he made known recently.

While sending a birthday greeting, the Los Angeles Lakers rookie also said in a tweet he posted that Green still cannot defend him.

Of course, it’s not hard to recall that Kuzma has played in two of the three meetings between the Lakers and Warriors this season. He has performed very well on both occasions, recording 27 and 25 points, respectively, showing everyone that he can produce solid numbers even against the defense of Green and the defending champions.

Although they have not won over the Warriors this year, Kuzma was still able to make a good account of himself in the two games.

With Green being a very vocal person, on and off the court, it will be very interesting to see what his reply to Kuzma will be. It may also fire him up to play even better next time they meet, and show the 22-year-old why he was named the best defensive player just last season.

On Kuzma's part, he has also been known for his activity on social media, figuring in some hilarious moments with his Lakers teammates — most notably fellow rookie Lonzo Ball.
