The Los Angeles Lakers ran into a buzzsaw on Sunday night in the form of the Houston Rockets. Although the Lakers have managed to hold their own against some the league's most formidable teams so far that certainly was not the case in their 95-118 loss to the Rockets.

Fortunately, it gave the Lakers' rookies a chance to see firsthand what two elite NBA players look like in the superstar backcourt pairing of Chris Paul and James Harden. According to Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, forward Kyle Kuzma discussed the most difficult part of guarding Harden.

Despite the acquisition of Paul prior to the 2017-18 NBA season, there is no doubt that the Rockets still largely run through James Harden. As a result, he is one of the few players that is allowed to over-dribble on a consistent basis. On top of his crafty handles, his ability to score off the drive is second to none, as he is notorious for his frequent trips to the free-throw line.

Needless to say, the Kyle Kuzma got to see Harden a bit more than he would have liked. However, despite the loss, the Lakers' rookie treated the home crowd to yet another stellar outing with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting and 12 rebounds.
