The Los Angeles Lakers got back forward Kyle Kuzma for Tuesday's victory over the Chicago Bulls. Kuzma returned to the starting five and went for 21 points, adding in five rebounds and four assists in his return from an ankle injury. After the win, Kuzma opened up, via Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, about the team's comeback victory and how they'll be treating the final 15 games of the 2018-19 campaign:

“When you're losing, it's always hard to try to have fun, try to embrace just playing the game. You get caught up as pros in this day and age of social media. Everybody is so tight and tense when they play basketball, but just in general as basketball players, we just need to have fun. Play the game like we did when we were kids in high school and college. I think we can do that the next 15 games. Lay it all out there. That's all we can really ask for at this point.”

Those 15 games certainly appear to be too little, too late for the Lakers' playoffs hopes in 2018-19, but that doesn't mean that they're not important. Los Angeles had a roster overhaul before the season, with no addition bigger than that of LeBron James. Attempting to return to the postseason after years of futility was an optimistic goal for the franchise at the start of the year, but it appears that it will need more than a one year fix. Kuzma, should he remain with the franchise, will likely have a large impact in purple and gold moving forward.
