Lonzo Ball may have more doubters than believers these days, but his teammates have always been there for him since he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers back in June. Now that he has made a lot of headlines because of his poor performances and refusing to help prevent the scuffle during the game the other night, Kyle Kuzma still came to his defense.

The 22-year-old Utah product made it known that Ball is good teammate, and said that he is misunderstood. He also feels for him that he has been placed under the microscope, and thinks that the media has often placed him under a bad light with the news they report about him. Kuzma then gave him a lot of credit for remaining professional always, and not allowing outside factors to cause as a distraction to him.

Kuzma’s comments only prove how good their relationship is, despite many thinking that there is competition between them. Even if he is performing better so far than the former UCLA star, Kuzma believes that Ball can showcase his true potential soon, which will change how the fans think of him. They are both expected to play huge roles in the Lakers’ future plans, where the success of one of them could help the other play at a higher level, and help the team becoming a winning group once again.
