Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma showed support for his fellow rookie Lonzo Ball after yet another porous outing against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night in front of the home crowd at Staples Center.

Ball's struggles shooting the ball continued, as he went 1-of-9 from the field in his 21 minutes, scoring a mere two points and collecting two assists with two turnovers through his short stint in the game.

“He’ll be fine. He’s a great player and he has confidence. He’ll be alright,” said Kuzma, according to ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward. “It’s tough. The NBA is not easy. The media and everyone else gives him a lot of flack, but he’s still a rookie, 20 years old.”

“The NBA is not easy for anybody. Not every rookie comes out of the gate storming.”

Ball's struggles have been historically bad, as he has shot only 30 percent from the field this season, along with 23 percent from deep, and 50 percent from the free-throw line. Any sign of efficiency from his lone year at UCLA has been completely wiped out during his first 15 games as a pro, as the glaring flaw with his jump shot is only one of the many woes he's faced during his short stint in the league.

Kuzma on the other hand, enjoyed a career-high 24 points against the Sixers, making this his fourth 20-point game of the month and his fifth of the season.
