Isaiah Thomas appears to have built a nice camaraderie with his Los Angeles Lakers teammates in the short time he’s been with the team. That’s also why the diminutive point guard is getting away with hilarious jabs like this one he had with teammate Kyle Kuzma on Twitter.

Thomas has always carried that kind of confidence in his game. It’s a key element to his success in the NBA, as his small stature has often led people to underestimate him. The last pick of the 2011 NBA Draft worked his way into becoming an All-Star, so he’s not just going to let someone like Kyle Kuzma ridicule him – not even his virtual version in NBA2K.

Also, that kind of attitude might also be among the reasons why he was let go by the Cleveland Cavaliers, as he simply could not develop a seamless chemistry with LeBron James and company.

Isaiah Thomas landed in La La Land back in February when was shipped to the Lakers by the Cavs along with Channing Frye and a 2018 first-round pick for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. In 17 games played in Lakers threads, Thomas managed to average 15.6 points with a 38.3 field goal shooting percentage and 5.0 assists. Thomas is bound for free agency this coming summer, and is looking to sign a huge deal next.

Kuzma, meanwhile, put up 16.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 77 games in his first year in the NBA. Like Thomas, Kuzma was regarded as a big steal, as he was selected 27th overall in last year's NBA Draft.
