In two preseason games so far, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma has been very impressive with back-to-back solid performances. He is currently averaging 21.0 points on 62.1 percent shooting to go along with 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27.5 minutes of playing time. Although they are more than what’s expected of the young big man, he feels he still has more to give.

When asked what he thinks about his first two outings, the 22-year-old Utah product admitted, via Clutchpoints’ Ryan Ward, that he is pleased with it but also knows that he can still further improve and play at a higher level.

While others may already be satisfied with the production he’s had, Kuzma is showing that he is hungry for more success. He understands his true potential and is looking forward to contributing more to the Lakers, who are geared to challenge for a playoff spot this coming season.

Although a lot of the teams in the Western Conference have also bolstered their lineups in the offseason, the Lakers’ chances will definitely be boosted if Kuzma can continue his strong play once the regular season starts. It will be a tall order for the team to make it to the playoffs, but with the mindset and attitude the 6-foot-9 forward has, it won’t come as a complete surprise if they will be able to reach their goal.
