Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma has been working with Carmelo Anthony this summer, and he believes that playing with the former All-Star would be great.

In an interview with LA Times' Arash Markazi, Kuzma said that he would love to play with Melo in the Purple and Gold, but he also understands that the decision to add him to the team will be up to the front office.

“It would be great to see him in L.A., but I don’t make those decisions. That’s up to Rob [Pelinka] to make those decisions as far as what he thinks is best for the Lakers. He’s done a great job so far putting this team together.”

Over the past couple of months, there have been rumors that the Lakers are interested in adding Anthony, but it hasn't gained any significant traction. It is also unlikely that he'll end up with the Lakers because they are already stacked at the small forward position.

But Kuzma believes that Anthony is still better than half of the players who are in the league right now, adding that if he doesn't end up with the Lakers, he should at least be with another team.

However, it seems that almost every NBA team is moving away from Melo because of his ego and his reluctance to accept a reduced role. If Melo will do something to change this narrative, the chances of him finding a team before the start of next season will grow significantly.

In the end, it will all depend on Melo.
